Prime Rib Burgers with Caramelized Onion & Swiss |

Serves: 4 people Ingredients 4 - Au Pain D'Ore Artisan Herbed Ciabatta buns
4 - Prime Rib Burgers 8 Tbsp. Wildly Delicious Caramelized Onion & Maple Confit 4 slices each - Swiss cheese, tomato, lettuce other condiments as desired Items depicted in italics are available at Portions. Directions- Preheat grill or barbecue to medium high heat.
- Brush grill with olive oil. Grill burgers until cooked, turning only once, until a minimum internal temperature of 160F is reached.
**TIP do not press burgers into the grill to speed up cooking, it will drain the fat needed for flavour and will dry out the finished product. Once the burgers have been seared, I like to lower the temperature and close the lid. The heat inside the barbecue will create an oven and you will always end up with a juicy, well cooked burger. Make sure you have a meat thermometer.**
- During the last 2 minutes of grilling, place sliced cheese on top of burgers and toast ciabatta buns on grill.
- Once the cheese has melted, remove burgers from grill and place on rolls. Top each burger with 2 Tbsp. Wildly Delicious Caramelized Onion and Maple Confit, tomato, lettuce and other condiments.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
